Have you heard of Art Prize? It's a two-week-long citywide art competition in Grand Rapids, running from September 18 to October 4, 2025. This year marks my first participation, and I couldn't be more thrilled!

I'm excited for this new opportunity for people to experience my art. My piece, "appleblossom," will be showcased at the charming and delightful shop Popnotch Goods in Easttown/East Hills, located at 746 Wealthy Street SE.

Fun Events During Art Prize

On the afternoon of September 20, I will be at Popnotch around 2 PM to discuss the inspiration behind my piece, appleblossom. This is a great chance to connect and share my creative journey with you.

Block Party Celebration

On September 27, Wealthy Street will host a block party. This event promises music, food, and various activities. I will also be doing a live painting demonstration at Popnotch! If you’ve ever been curious about my process or inspiration, come see me painting and chatting from 12 PM to 5 PM.
